Dr. Kennedy is the founder and senior partner of Kennedy Vision Health Center. Originally from Alma, NE, Dr. Kennedy received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska - Kearney. He continued his education at Illinois College of Optometry and graduated in 1974. Dr. Kennedy opened his practice in August of 1974 and has been practicing for over 30 years. Dr. Kennedy is an active member in the Minnesota and American Optometric Associations. He has also presented seminars on cornea and contact lenses. Dr. Kennedy resides in Plymouth, MN with his wife, Kathie. He has three adult children and enjoys running and biking in his free time.
Dr. Bugajski joined the Kennedy Vision Health Center professional staff in December 1993. Previously, she practiced in North Branch and Cambridge, Minnesota for two years. Dr. Bugajski did her undergraduate schooling at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. She continued her doctorate education at the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1991. In Optometry school, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb & Lomb Optometric honor societies. Currently she is an active member of the Minnesota and American Optometric Associations. She resides in Maple Grove with her husband Dan and their two sons. In her free time she enjoys walking, biking and reading.
Dr. Traverse joined the Kennedy Vision Health Center professional staff in 2003 and became a partner in the practice in 2007. Originally from Plainview, MN, Dr. Traverse received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree with the highest distinctions from Pacific College of Optometry in 2003. Dr. Traverse was president of his class at Pacific and a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric honor society. Dr. Traverse is an active member in the Minnesota and American Optometric Associations. Clinically he has special interest in contact lenses, dry eye management, and pediatric vision care. Dr Traverse resides in Elk River with his wife, Kamden. He has two children, Benjamin and Olivia and in his free time he enjoys skiing, fishing, and golfing.
