Our doctors are committed to providing the personal attention you deserve to ensure a thorough and accurate assessment of your needs. Our staff consists of Dr. David L. Kennedy, Dr. Kimberley A. Bugajski, Dr. Anthony C. Traverse, and Dr. Grady G. Hollenbeck.
Dr. David Kennedy
Dr. Kennedy is the founder and senior partner of Kennedy Vision Health Center. Originally from Alma, NE, Dr. Kennedy received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska - Kearney. He continued his education at Illinois College of Optometry and graduated in 1974. Dr. Kennedy opened his practice in August of 1974 and has been practicing for over 30 years. Dr. Kennedy is an active member in the Minnesota and American Optometric Associations. He has also presented seminars on cornea and contact lenses. Dr. Kennedy resides in Plymouth, MN with his wife, Kathie. He has three adult children and enjoys running and biking in his free time.
Dr. Anthony Traverse
Dr. Traverse joined the Kennedy Vision Health Center professional staff in 2003 and became a partner in the practice in 2007. Originally from Plainview, MN, Dr. Traverse received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree with the highest distinctions from Pacific College of Optometry in 2003. Dr. Traverse was president of his class at Pacific and a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric honor society. Dr. Traverse is an active member in the Minnesota and American Optometric Associations. Clinically he has special interest in contact lenses, glaucoma and dry eye management, and pediatric vision care. Dr Traverse resides in Maple Grove with his wife, Kamden. He has three children, Benjamin, Olivia and Sophia and in his free time he enjoys skiing, fishing, and golfing.
Dr. Kimberley Bugajski
Dr. Bugajski joined the Kennedy Vision Health Center professional staff in December 1993. Previously, she practiced in North Branch and Cambridge, Minnesota for two years. Dr. Bugajski did her undergraduate schooling at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. She continued her doctorate education at the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1991. In Optometry school, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb & Lomb Optometric honor societies. Currently she is an active member of the Minnesota and American Optometric Associations. She resides in Maple Grove with her husband Dan and their two sons. In her free time she enjoys walking, biking and reading.
Dr. Grady Hollenbeck
Dr. Hollenbeck joined the Kennedy Vision Health Center professional staff in 2011. Originally from Kailua, HI, Dr. Hollenbeck received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific College of Optometry in 2003. Dr. Hollenbeck is an active member in the American Optometric Association. Since graduation Dr. Hollenbeck has trained in all modes of Optometric practice including private practice and surgical co-management. Clinically he has special interest in family eye care, management of diabetes, and contact lenses. Dr. Hollenbeck resides in Plymouth with his wife Tiffany. He has two children, a daughter Chloe, and a son Sam. In his free time he enjoys traveling, golfing, and snowboarding.
