Our goal is to improve the quality of life for all our patients! When there are no-shows, late arrivals, or late cancellations, our providers and our other patients are inconvenienced. When you book an appointment, you are holding a space in our calendar and this keeps others from taking that space.
We understand that life happens and sometimes appointments need to be moved or canceled. We do our best to be respectful and courteous when these situations happen, and we expect the same of our patients. However, as it takes time and resources to hold an appointment slot, we hold our patients responsible for rescheduling or canceling their appointment at least 24 hours before their scheduled appointment.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, we will check with the doctor to see if they are able to squeeze you into their schedule or into a later appointment slot. However, if the doctor is unable to fit you in, then the appointment will need to be rescheduled.
A late cancellation is when an appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled. appointment time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without canceling.
Due to the time and resources that we spend in holding an appointment spot for you, if you are to no-show or must cancel late, then we will charge
$50 missed appointment fee.
We love to see our patients when they come in and are disappointed when we cannot see them. To help you and our other patients, we have a texting app called Weave that texts to confirm appointments. These texts go out 7 days before your appointment. If you do not confirm with that text, then Weave will reach out 3 days before your appointment and again 24 hours before your appointment. Weave also sends out a courtesy reminder 2 hours before your appointment.
If you do not confirm your appointment through Weave, we will call the day before your appointment to remind you of your appointment.
